Bienvenue à Utiq !
It’s with great pleasure that we can officially welcome Béatrice Lhopitallier to #teamutiq, where she starts as our new Chief Revenue Officer for Utiq France, in charge of business development and commercial relations with advertisers and publishers for the French market.
Beatrice will report into Sophie Poncin, Managing Director, France, having previously worked together at Orange Advertising where Beatrice was Marketing Director in charge of Data monetization, and supporting Orange Advertising’s strategic shift to create new revenue opportunities by leveraging the operator’s data. She was also involved in the structuring and launch of addressable TV in France.
Béatrice Lhopitallier holds a Master’s degree in Marketing from the University of Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne, and has been working in the French media world since 1995. She began her career in radio in the Communications department of Nostalgie, later joining the business daily La Tribune as Research Director. In 2008, she was appointed Director of Research and Marketing for Les Echos, where she oversaw the digital redeployment of the brand and its advertising agency, Les Echosmédias.
Prior to joining Orange, she was appointed Director of Data for the Les Echos-Le Parisien media group, setting up the new cross-functional Data department for all the group’s activities in order to meet the new Big Data challenges. She then took part in the design, sizing and launch of the Gravity Platform, the Data alliance of French media groups, telcos and retailers.
Beatrice commented on her appointment, saying “”In my previous professional experiences, I’ve been lucky enough to participate in the evolution of the digital advertising sector. The end of third-party cookies and the new rules on privacy represent challenges that require new approaches, and I believe that Utiq is an answer to all these new issues. I’m delighted to be joining the adventure and helping to write this new chapter.”
